Do we need an attorney present?
My daughter had a court appearance last December for 2 counts. Count 1, Exceeded Posted speed limit by 20-25 miles per hour. Count 2, driving while revoked/suspended 2nd or subsequent offense.
I called the court to request an extension and the lady I spoke to said we will be receiving a new court date in the mail. Last month my daughter was coming home from school and she pulled over to the side of the road because she was dizzy. A few minutes later, an officer pulled behind her to see what the problem was and I guess he ran her plates and there was a warrant for her arrest and ended up taking her in.
My wife got her out that evening and we had to pay $750 bond. Now she has another court appearance on June 23. What should we do and how serious is it? One count has been classified as Misdemeanor B and 2nd count as Misdemeanor Unclassified! Thank you

Traffic Lawyer Richard Simon’s Answer
Easy answer, get a good traffic attorney and get these matters settled. Missouri is pretty good about amending traffic matters and even setting aside warrants. It will cost you a bit but should not be too bad.
