I’d like to sue Nissan..I have most phone calls recorded(except ones made on police’s phone)

04/22/2016 I rented a car from Nissan in Seattle, WA and drove all the way to Maryland. I already told them my final destination and one of the sale team gave me a transportation company contact number to send the car back. Today, 05/12/2016, 5-6 police officers showed up at my building because Nissan reported my vehicle as stolen car. Then I showed them the rental agreement. Nissan simply apologized for the confusion and claimed that they couldn’t find the paperwork because the person that prepared it was fired. Nissan also demanded that I return the vehicle to Seattle, WA on Monday because the paperwork stated the return date as 04/21/2016 which doesn’t make much sense to me at all since they know I’ll be driving from WA to MD. Anyway, I felt embarrassed and wasted my time[around 1-2 hrs] some of the neighbors saw this and looked at me like some sort of criminal.

5/16/2016 I called the general manager and agreed that I could buy the vehicle. I called Shanti, sales manager, to give him my information. He said I won’t be eligible to buy one and kept saying that I stole the vehicle and gave me 30min or he’ll call police again and call me and my wife scam for stealing vehicle.

I do not think you have a direct suit against Nissan or really any of these people that is worth much. You would need to identify your damages. I would contact Nissan directly and see what they are willing to do.
