Am I entitled to reimbursement by the apartment complex for treating my home?

I moved my mother from her apartment to my home. My sisters and I moved her belongs over one month before she physically left. A week before she moved, the apartment complex sent out a notice that they would be inspecting for bed bugs. The inspection was the day after my mom moved.
The moving van notified me that my mom had bed bugs. I called a pest control service to inspect my home, I had bed bugs. I had my home treated.

In general the answer is no. You would have to prove that the apartment complex is responsible for the bed bugs being in your mothers apartment and not your mothers fault. However, you can contact them and ask for reimbursement or ask around and see if the complex was infested. If it was, contact them and request reimbursement.
