Is littering typically an infraction or misdemeanor? And is there any way to find out about my instance without traveling there?

In 2011 I was given a summons for indecent exposure in Cape Girardeau. However, the charge was finalized as littering and I paid a $300 fine (if memory serves me right).

It’s a misdemeanor. The Court can provide you with your criminal background, as pointed out by my colleague.
