Can a married wife sue her husband for child support if they are still married and living together?
In New York. Married couple, not separated (yet). We have two children together, 3 y.o. and 6 month old. Husband is not providing enough for the children, wife works full time and buys them everything. He only pays rent, but I just learned he is now 6 months behind. He has a vending route that makes $? He doesn’t really say how much he makes, but it’s not very much. He should get a job. Can wife sue her husband whom she is living with and still married for CHILD SUPPORT in New York state.

No. There are a flurry of all types of suits one could think of to make the husband pay for something, but the only real way is to get a divorce. Go and Talk to a Divorce Attorney.
