Is it safe to go to the courthouse?
As unlucky as I am, I got pulled over a few days ago, with four prior active warrants for failure to appear in court, all for failure to prove insurance. The officer was compassionate to let me go, but he issued me a fialure to produce insurance ticket. Would it be safe for me to walk into the court house and pay for the new ticket?
Justin’s Answer
They generally won’t arrest you for paying a ticket, but the court house in blue springs is literally in the same building as the police station. Plus, if you pay 5 insurance tickets, you’re looking at 20 points on your license. You’re going to have a long suspension and your insurance rates are going to increase dramatically. You should speak with a traffic attorney in your area about getting those tickets reduced!
