What should I do about a Delaware speeding ticket while I have my Maryland provisional license?

I am currently 18 years old on a Maryland provisional license. In December 2015, I received a 6-month probation before judgement for speeding 87mph in a 55 (which ends on June 22). This reset my provisional period by another 18 months starting in December. Today (6/10/16), I received a speeding ticket in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware for going 44 in a 25. I understand that since this is an out of state ticket, the points will not transfer. I plan to wait until after June 22 before taking action on this ticket, so that any outcome will not affect my existing probation. Should I pay the fine on the Delaware ticket or go to court? Would having a Delaware traffic lawyer help? Also, how will this affect my provisional license consequences (would an out of state outcome of guilty for this speeding ticket result in the 30 day provisional suspension?)

Traffic Lawyer Richard Simon’s Answer

Hire a good Delaware attorney and get these matters settled. See if the Delaware attorney(hopefully licensed in Maryland too) can even get your previous matter removed by vacating the guilty plea. You are 18 years old and I would bet dollars to donuts that your insurance is sky high and about to go up.
