i live on oahu, hawaii and i got pulled over early this morning. my license expired 6/28/11 so i was driving without a valid drivers license which i am guilty of. anyways i said sumtin among theses lines ” if u dont mind asking why did u pull me over did i swerve or something” he replied your safety inspection is expired, 9/15 was the date of experation. the car is my dads and all the paper work is under his name. so i get ticketed for expired inspection $70.00 fine and another for no driver license which i have a court date for 4/29/16 and he lets me drive home. when i got home i started thinking my dad is pretty on top of things and i couldnt see him driving with a expired tag for so long so i went out side and looked at the sticker he said expired and it says 6/16. and at that moment i couldnt understand. my dads tag wasnt expired but he said it was and ticketed me for it. so that means he unjustly pulled me over he had no right to pull me over and i understand i was driving with no license and im guilty but he wouldnt have known that but by pulling me over for something which is false.

He pulled you over legally and the attorneys fees to try to throw out the stop would be more expensive than just having the ticket amended or taken care of by an attorney. Get an attorney and get this taken care of.
