Another States says my driving privileges are suspended but my Missouri driving record doesn’t indicate a suspension ?

I was pulled over in Illinois a few months ago and the officer told me my driving privileges in that state were suspended and I told him i had no knowledge of this. I had a few court fines to pay off. A no insurance and a failure to register vehicle. The vehicle in question belongs to my dad but I was responsible for paying the tickets. So I was told I wouldn’t be able to drive until I got those paid off. I paid them off and still was told I would not be able to have my driving privelages reinstated. But here’s the catch. I live in Missouri and have a Missouri License. I called to check my Missouri driving record and there are no suspensions or anything. My record is clean. But i was told that once your suspended in one state your suspended in all other states. This leads me to believe I’m not really suspended in Illinois. I need answers. Please help.
