Drivers licence

Is it true you don’t have to have a drivers license if you are not performing an act of commerce and are just travelling

Got arrested for driving while suspended, was held for 24hrs and never issued a ticket. I was told on my release that a warrant may be issued for fellonie driving.

Traffic Lawyer Richard Simon’s Answer:
That is not true, it is an urban legend. You are subject to the laws of the land you live in. Any operation of a motor vehicle requires a license.
