I recently received a speeding ticket for 17 over the posted speed limit and never actually got my physical copy of the ticket in the mail (the officer issuing the ticket said his "printer was broken" but whatever that's a whole different thing); when I contacted speedingticketkc I explained that at the time all I had was a ticket number off of Casenet. Horrible. 0 stars if I could, they forgot to show up to my court date TWICE. Took $600 from me and I was issued a warrant. I had to call 5 times to get an answer. They promised a full refund and to fix their mistake. Luckily the warrant for the minor speeding ticket was resolved I was not refunded as promised and I had to miss 2 days of work for this. My father has dementia, his truck keys we thought were well hidden. My family was in the process of selling his truck, apparently we were not quick or clever enough. He found the keys, went for a drive, which resulted in a Silver Alert, and ended in a fender bender. He was so confused, thinking people were trying to hurt him, he left the scene. Could be more efficient, they weren’t horrible! They did not pay attention to their emails and they almost got me a violation for my probation causing me to almost have to go to court and prove I did not try to avoid the ticket. I also had to call on many occasions to make sure everything was caught up & majority of the time it was not. I also know many other people who had other lawyers who didn’t have to pay nearly as much as I did nor did they have to do 1/2 the things.

Chris was awesome. This was a first for me in needing to get a lawyer for a speeding ticket, and he made the process so easy. I didn't have to go to court, didn't even have to meet up with Chris in person. Everything was handled online and in a timely manner.I also want to mention that in addition to this being a first, I also am a little bit of a control freak - I had a LOT of questions. Got a speeding ticket the day after Christmas. Didn't want the points on my license so I gave Mr.simons a call. He asked me a few questions about the ticket, where, when, how fast over speed limit and then gave me a quote. I agreed to price and paid online and sent a screen shot of ticket to him. Didn't have to go to court or anything else. Next time I heard from the lawyer, my ticket was amended down to a non moving violation for defective equipment. Guy seem kind of rude, and talk to me like I was already guilty which is not the due process. When I go to an attorney I expect someone to see things from my point of view, not be to take me on as if they're the prosecutor coming down on me. Not the prosecutor who forgot to tell it to the judge, not to me, because that is offensive and who I talk to over the phone seemed offensive. Great guys to work with. I always wait until the last minute to do everything and this ticket was no exception. I've used them in the past and there was no question about who I would choose to take care of it again. I called them the day before I had court and was a bit worried I had waited so long. Chris is hands down the best traffic lawyer in KC. I've had a few minor traffic violations and he took care of every single one of my ticket. This past summer, I was stopped for a minor violation. The officer could have very easily given a warning, but chose not to, even thought I was courteous and have a totally clean driving record. I work long hours and cannot take any time off work for court or anything like that. A friend told me to get an attorney, which is correct advice. You don't want points on your record. I found R. Christopher Simons Esq. telephone and gave his office a call. He was in court, but never-the-less called me back right away. He had me complete documentation electronically, and I sent a photo of the ticket. He was very reasonable in his fee structure. I ask for a recommendation on a Facebook Community Page for a reasonably priced attorney to handle a speeding ticket and several people posted a link to this site. Mr. Simons did a fantastic job in reducing my construction zone speeding ticket to faulty equipment. Although the officer didn't mark the ticket as construction zone, he did make note of it in the notes area on the ticket.
