Is there something I can do. I need my license to go to work and care for my family.

I received a ticket for failing to prove proof of insurance in 2011. I just paid the tickets last week. Then I got a letter of reinstatement from the state of MN. This week I received another letter stating that I can’t drive for 180 days in MN. Then a list of requirements to get my license back. Is there no limitations on this violation. I have gone four years without a license. I need my license no business system here and taxis are not reliable. My husband is 60% disabled and I am his caregiver.

Traffic Lawyer Richard Simon’s Answer

HIre an attorney and see if you can get a motion to vacate your original guilty plea. If that motion is not granted then seek a hardship exception.
