Can that officer question him about this without me present? My 17 year old son…
I want to tell him that I don’t want her to go back down there, but I know it will be a huge fight. How can I go about this?

well I have talked to a lawyer and he assures me that just because the fathers name is on the birth certificate he has absolutely no rights until he establishes paternity. I’m not saying he is a bad person but he is a horrible parent, he only wants our child when its convenient for him and he NEVER supports her in any way. My daughter and I have lived in Georgia for almost two years now, and he lives in Florida. She hasn’t seen him since January and he doesn’t call. now he wants me to let her go to Florida for a while and I am not so sure I want her there after our last conversation was more of an argument about him wanting her to be away from me for her schooling. I was against it as I am her mother and hate her being away from me. I also think she should be in school where her sister is and not in Florida. when she is with her father he usually leaves her with his grandmother so he can go off and be with his girlfriend or buddies rather than stay home with her. I always wanted to keep him apart of her life but he seems to be more controlling lately. He filed for her this past year and claims its his right, and he says its his right to have her in school there too.
